Priory Lodge No 5152

At Priory Lodge No. 5152, our mission is to provide a welcoming environment where like-minded men can build character, forge lifelong friendships, and make a positive impact on the community.
Our mission is underpinned by the four guiding principles of Freemasonry:
The Priory Lodge No. 5152. was sponsored by Abbey Lodge No 3341 which was founded in 1909 (which is recorded as being named after St Albans Abbey). In July 1929 it was nearing its coming of age and to commemorate its 21st year it was decided to support the petition for a new Lodge, as it had grown so large, it now numbered more than 100 members. It was felt therefore, by some of the very keen members of the Abbey Lodge of Instruction, that, to enable some of the younger brethren to attain the Master’s Chair, a petition should be presented to found a daughter Lodge — thus was the start of
“The Priory Lodge No 5152”.
We are a body of men who enjoy delivering excellent ritual, building lasting friendships, and actively supporting the wider community.
Our regular meetings take place at Ashwell House Masonic Centre, St Albans, four times a year. We invite visiting Brethren and interested guests to join us on the following dates:
Meeting Time: Gavel down is typically at 17:00 (5:00pm)
